Got it for $15.74 after coupon.
Cable is 5' long, these are expensive selling in the $30+ range.
I'd have preferred all black, but for the price/quality ratio I can't complain.

I believe this cable doesn't support 120Gbps 1-way, only 80Gbps bi-directional. I think only eGPUs would saturate the 1-way USB4v2 max. I like the length, but it's a little out of my price range for a whim purchase. I just don't transfer that much, nor do I use any high-bandwidth accessories.
You shouldn't buy it either. If you're on the fence, just buy a cheap and slow USB 2.0 cable that supports 3A. Maybe 5A if you need the absolute fastest charging (I don't think you do, but do you). Otherwise this is just going to sit in your drawer. I have several TB3/4 cables that I might use once or twice a year, but want to reduce wear on them and end up using USB 2.0/PD1.0 cables most of the time. And wireless file transfers. Maybe if my dock had a replaceable cable then I would finally get some use from them.

Cable Matters is one of the few brands that sells legitimate USB-IF certified cables (and they also sell legitimate Thunderbolt cables). Their marketing isn't perfect but they will respond to suggestions. Where does Benson Leung "hate" Cable Matters?

But I still don't trust Cable Matters because they doubled down with Benson. Def a bad look. I still love their low-spec cables and A2A extenders.

I remember that reddit thread, I was actually a part of that discussion. Benson's issue was that this is a brand with a good reputation in the eyes of specification writers like him because they actually go through the certification process. He doesn't like them selling non-certified cables alongside certified ones. He has no issues with the certified ones. I agree it's not a good look and I'm also disappointed that they do this.
What's an "A2A extender"? A USB extension cable? Those would create exactly the same issue as the long uncertified USB-C cables...

The Kensington is manufactured by CE-Link. The Cable Matters originates from GuangDong Quanjie Technology. Not sure about the others.
