I'm on a very old Simple Choice plan and it lets me do this with any phone trade in for an upgrade.

The only color they have is Obsidian and I chose the 256GB as a test in the T-Life app and selected to trade in my Nexus 4 and it worked and gave me the $400 credit.

You sure this is going to work with Simple Choice? I don't see Simple Choice as one of the eligible plan types. (I ask because I'm also on an old Simple Choice plan.)

I'd be afraid of T-Mobile checking somewhere later on in the process & realizing that you aren't actually eligible. I hope I'm wrong!

It says when on the experience plan or whatever, how do you get around that?

I'm on magenta max with insider and free lines so if it stacks im in! Sounds like a good deal and even better if available at Costco.

I have 2 lines on essential 55+ and this isnt eligible. Will check in store tomorrow.

edit: does appear to work when I try to add to cart and check out, will try with a different phone.
