lg gram is generally considered lightest laptops that are also very well built. so, here, weight is their #1 competitive advantage. if that's important to you, then yes, these are very good deals.

I thought same thing at first, the $750 is for 14 in 16 gb ram , igpu, the 32gb and 5050 one is $1500. Check the details section on original post it lists the three different ones and their prices respectively

can you tell me if this is a good deal? open box 500. - I want to use it for emulation gaming, like older consoles ps1/ps2/ps3 etc, if I hook It up my tv 85 inch 4k tv. will it play like poop or will it still work? I want it purely for emulation. but if it will look like poop, I'll totally dismiss it. I can also wait for this to get better pricing, may drop to 300-400 open box. its arc140 258v

I dont have any experience with swift but the specs look good. It will run ps1 and ps2 fine. Ive not had much success running ps3 emulators on any computer even with top gpus and processors. Tbh i didn't really spend much time tinkering either so you might have more success than i did if you're willing to troubleshoot. Hope this helps and sorry couldn't give more concrete answer

real question is, 500 for that pc, or do I throw another several hundred at a 5050/5060/5070. blah.

if it drops to 400, I think im going to jump on it, and do what I can with it.

If the $750 one shipped with 32GB I'd bite. I like Grams quite a bit and the Intel chip these come with does have capable graphics (same integrated GPU as MSI's Claw 8 AI+) and they are actually efficient and will offer all-day battery-life for general-use.. But $750 for no dedicated GPU and also only 16GB RAM is madness. $1099 is WAY too much for not having a dedicated GPU, and only a power-gimped RTX 5050 on a $1499 device is a roundhouse kick to the back of the consumer's head. Just buy an Asus Zephyrus G14 or G16 on sale -yeah they aren't as thin and light, but they have better build-quality and quite a bit better performance.

I won't lie I just shot offers of 200-250 for3050 laptops lol. It should be enough for emulating older consoles.
