If you're thinking about getting the 1/4" one, you may want to consider the Skil unit instead.
I am deep in the Ridgid ecosystem, but just bought the Skil unit recently instead after watching this video:

the 3/8" is on clearance.

i bought one last year for $50.

i was at HD today to pick up my 3/4" high torque impact + battery, and saw more of the 3/8" ratchets ($123.05) and 3/8" SC R/A($130.05) piledup on clearance.
