I tried the KEF's and returned them. Just a little too midrange forward for me - which sounds muddy to my ear. Also depends on the music you listen to, what size room and honestly how old you are (no joke). You lose some high frequency hearing as you get older so younger listeners might not like a Klipsch as it has a very pronounced high frequency-forward tweeter. If you are over 50, those frequencies are less pronounced and so less objectionable to you. I still like the old school Klipsch 600M (not M II's) for my office setup. 3' from the wall, 30* off axis and sitting about a foot below the tweeter. Higher and clearer highs and strong bass. Still a great value at $349 Walnut and $345 Black ($329 on rare sales).
Edit: I still thumbed-up the deal. This is a good price for KEF's. Sadly the only way to truly know how your speaker will sound, is to buy them and set them up in your home or office, listening to your music the way you typically listen to it.
Unsure how long they've been at this price, but matches the FP deal from October. I have them paired with a WiiM amp and think they sound great - I will admit though that I'm not an audiophile. https://slickdeals.net/f/18696139

I've got the white ones hooked to a Klipsch PowerGate. Best PC speaker setup I've ever owned. They are so full sounding I don't even feel like you need a subwoofer with them.
Speakers are a *very* personal thing but have been in love with KEF for decades. I run nothing but KEF's in the house across my systems. One of the most accurate, clear-sounding speakers made at the mid-range pricing tier. Smaller form factor has downsides of limited bass but a great satellite or starter pair.

But I will probably be deaf by then, so there will be no point.
