I don't see any need to port in anything. I could go to checkout with new account without any porting in part. I think this is the same deal from black friday.

Not a bad deal I was able to do a trick w/ 3 month and P10PXL for a bit more and it was unlocked after 60 days. I had to contact them, they did not unlock immediately. The service was good I would have kept it but they wanted like $300 to renew and I just took my biz to visible for under $200 for the pro+ with much better international coverage.

After the $25 recovery fee and tax, it's more like $20 a month for service. Decent deal still.

I did this a year ago with pixel 9. Didn't require port in but I did anyway. Got an unlock text around 58 days. Service worked fine. Ported to us mobile after the year. I'll probably port to mint when us mobile year is up.
