This 20,000mAh Anker power bank stands out for high output and laptop charging, with enough capacity for roughly 72 watt hours and up to 200W across three ports. Real world runtime depends heavily on the device, from around 20 minutes at a full 200W load to well over an hour for a typical 40W laptop draw. The main caveats are the lack of PD 3.1 support and reports that some larger laptops need far more wattage, with one firmware update tied to capacity fixes and another report of sparking at the foldable plug. A strong compact backup if your laptop fits its power limits.

Common Questions (5)

At 72Wh, it can deliver about 20 minutes at a full 200W continuous load, but over 1.5 hours for a more typical 40W laptop draw. Actual runtime depends heavily on the laptop's wattage, with some models drawing 30W to 96W or more while browsing or charging.

A 17-inch Lenovo may not even trickle charge unless the power bank can provide at least 230W. That means this 200W unit may be insufficient for some larger or gaming laptops that need very high input wattage.
jag-engr Chumpdafyde
It does not appear to support PD 3.1. That matters if you need the newer USB-C Power Delivery spec for higher-voltage laptop charging, especially on machines that want more than standard PD profiles.
Redflyer
A firmware update reportedly fixed capacity issues, and updating requires the Anker app. It is unclear whether open-box units already have that update installed.
NervousCrib2934
One unit reportedly developed visible electrical sparks from the foldable plug after fewer than 100 charging cycles. That is a serious safety concern and suggests the plug mechanism should be inspected carefully before regular use.

Does Anker honor it's warranty for used products? Because getting their reliability and then customer service to back it up is one of the key value propositions of buying their stuff.

At 200w, this will last like 5 minutes?

72 watt-hours*, so about 20 minutes if you had devices pulling a full 200W continuous. If one was using a more typical laptop pulling a fairly aggressive 40W, I'd expect over 1.5 hours of runtime.

What's wrong with 5 minutes? Seems like plenty.

Curious what laptop you are using if you consider a 40w draw aggressive. My work laptop is powered over USB-C and draws 65W

I have a 17" Lenovo. It won't even trickle charge with less than 230W.

Have one. There was a firmware update that fixed capacity issues. You would need to get Anker app and update firmware. Not sure if this already has the update.
