Category results pagination and sort problems

Categories such as "home improvement" and "tech & electronics" are only showing one page of results. Additional pages can be viewed by adding "&page=x" to the URL, replacing x with the desired page number. The "best new deals" sorted results are also identical to "most recent" results when viewing categories. I first noticed both issues a few days ago across the mobile (Opera on android) and desktop (Firefox & Vivaldi on Windows 11) sites.

Lately I've noticed that the main page and the related categories on the main page only show 40 or so deals. Is this a new change or has something broken in my profile?

Also, is there a way to toggle the desktop UI for the Hot Deals forum to the more modern thumbnail-based interface that you see on a mobile device? I usually don't mind the old-school text interface but sometimes I just want to quickly scan thumbnails to see if there's anything interesting.

If you are in Classic, you can try switching to Redesign:

though that won't affect the way the Hot Deals main forum page looks. One workaround that I like is to do a blank search by clicking the magnifying glass in the search bar without entering any text, that will bring up a list of the most recent threads along with their thumbnails.

Yup, the site is basically unusable now. Can't filter by stores, filters not updating, only seeing 1 page of results that are recent-ish, sorting not working, just nothing. Is the problem that there just aren't any deals out there (because they've been steadily getting worse for the last couple months), and the backend doesn't know how to handle that? Tried with different user agents, disabling add ons, and in Firefox and Brave.
Taking the site out of the regular rotation because it now serves no purpose.

We unintentionally broke something with the pagination of the category page, the team is aware and we are working on getting that fixed. I assume you are on Chrome? As far as I can tell it is working on Firefox. Let me know.

In regards to Hot Deals. This is something we are looking into. Currently there is not a "modern" view for the Hot Deals forum, beyond what you mentioned on the app (I love the app for this reason).

It's not working on Firefox. I just checked. "Best New Deals" and "Most Recent Deals" both show the same 1 page results. As someone previously stated and is probably already obvious to your team, this makes the site rather impossible to use for a lot of people. I'm suprised there isn't an official statement on this, especially since it's an ongoing issue.

I'm using the app and it's only giving me one page of deals. If I sort by recent I only get deals posted within about the last 5 hours.

Having the same problem reported here doesn't matter what browser I use is there a fix scheduled soon? Agree it significantly impacts the site's usability.

Same here, pagination has been broken for almost two weeks. Looks like a back-end issue. Please urge your developer to roll back the most recent code update and invest more time into testing/fixing, this is in the site's best interest. If users can't use it, the referral commissions will also drop and I hate to see the community and admins suffer from poor tech/
