128 gigs of mem on a laptop? With a 13" screen. What is the use case?
basically a combo workstation/gaming rig that's portable af. small market for this, but I could see tech contractors that go on frequent deployments loving this
Those in the market for this but can't afford thousands, check out the refurbs on Minisforum. They got a tablet PC from a few years ago with decent spex

It's actually a tablet with 128GB RAM.
The use case is it's a Ryzen AI halo (last gen) chip. It has a decently fast iGPU that makes real use of 4 lanes of DDR5-8000. Then you can partition the RAM to 32GB for the system and 96GB for VRAM and run a 70 billion parameter LLM locally at low wattage with decent token generation rates.
It is an actual AI product unlike "Certified for Copilot!" nonsense. This will run actually useful AI stuff 100% locally and offline. It should also be really good for video editing.
