Not an Espresso maker. It's a Moka pot.

Is that trademarked? "Stovetop Espresso Maker" is kind of an iykyk thing. The Wiki says "Bialetti Industries continues to produce the original model under the trade name "Moka Express"." Fighting the good fight nevertheless.

Since I just ordered a 9 cup Moka pot I watched some YouTube videos and looked at what Amazon was selling. A Moka pot is a traditional Italian coffee maker. If you are going to buy that one watch some YouTube videos to learn how to use it. I bought a 9 cup, because when they say cup they don't mean a regular coffee cup. I got the 9 cup, since that supposedly makes 14 to 16oz. To me that's a cup of coffee.

The problem with these small moka pots are that if you have a gas stove the flame kind of just go around it and takes forever to boil. So you have to add in boiling water first to preheat it.

Have you had it before? It's very concentrated and can be too much for someone not used to it. It's recommend to dilute it one to two parts water (Americano)

For me...I like it muddy. no Diluting for me

I also recommend lavazza Italian roast. The grounds look blue ish. 🤤

What is this, a cup for ANTS?! It needs to be at least.... THREE times bigger!
