Ugh, Google Fi is charging sales tax on the full purchase price, not the after discount price.

Comes to like 17.5% in taxes when it should be 1/2 that.

The 512gb price is $1499... Therefore $850 is correct! I'm not sure if the 256gb is eligible

New FI customers can have 512gb for $999

Samsung pricing is insane. Apple is final cheaper by a mile. Samung sales are nonstarters

I'm currently with Fi, but on a plan promo that I don't want to lose, and I have a second account that is eligible for this deal.

How can somebody with an active unlimited premium account buy and activate it for me?
Do they need to activate the phone with eSim and keep it there one day after that or is this a bit more involved process?

They would need to activate the phone with eSIM and make sure the eSIM doesn't get put into another phone for the 120 days. If you put the eSIM into another phone, Google will charge you the full price of the phone.

If I add a person to my existing paused Flexible plan (which currently can see the promo) can the new person also qualify for the better existing customer promotion as well, or just the bill credit promos?

Interested in getting an S26 Ultra and a regular S26...

Thanks! So it's not feasible for active sims.

If I open a new account, do I need to activate it on any device/install the app? Or just wait 21 day? #1 and #2 in the list.
After activating the device (#3 in the list), and waiting one day, can I just remove the sim, do a factory reset and use my main sim? Or there is a need to keep the app installed?

Apparently it will let you trade an S25+ if you upgrade to an Ultra, but doesn't let you trade the 25+ for a 26+.... very annoying. The Ultra is too large for me. Comes out to $325 after the trade in.
Edit: Appears they are now letting you trade in S25+ for S26+

Where do people usually sell their phones from last year? I got the 25+ last year and it did not have the free memory upgrade like the 26+. I think that alone may be worth if I can essentially get the 25+ for the fi price.

No, that person will be treated as a new customer so they can do only bill credit promos.

You can download the FI app and activate the service on any device including the one you currently have and then wait 21 days.

After activating the S26U after a day you can factory reset and remove the app and use it with your main SIM.

FB marketplace for me. Got $780 for S25 ultra earlier this month and ordered a S26U for $783 after tax today
