Ugh, Google Fi is charging sales tax on the full purchase price, not the after discount price.

Comes to like 17.5% in taxes when it should be 1/2 that.

The 512gb price is $1499... Therefore $850 is correct! I'm not sure if the 256gb is eligible

New FI customers can have 512gb for $999

Samsung pricing is insane. Apple is final cheaper by a mile. Samung sales are nonstarters

ugh.. so this is not a good deal for New Fi subscribers then? You pay $650 + 5 months of service ( $20 Flexible plan + $10 fees = $30 x 5 months = $150) = $800 and no memory upgrade.

Better to just get it directly from Samsung or BestBuy. shake head
Also maybe I was not clear. After opening the account if you see the deals (like many here) I advise to order after couple of days (still within 3/11 preorder window for double storage upgrade) when the first bill is generated.

Just to confirm I'm doing this right... I reactivated an old Fi plan from 2+ years ago. I then used my current phone with ATT service to download the Fi app and activate the eSim. Now I have a physical sim and eSim. I then saw the promo price (I didn't wait til the first Fi bill was generated) and made the purchase. What will be my next steps when I receive the new phone? And if I want to sell my current phone, do I just remove the eSim but keep paying for the service for 120 days?

You are mostly treated as an existing users so when your new phone arrives

1. Use the Gmail account used for ordering and Fi account to setup and the download and run the FI app.

2. Wait for a day and check the progress counter in Fi app (billing, track FI saving and rebates, in progress) and see it shows activated the phone on FI and then countdown has gone down to stay active for 119 more days. At this point, you can disable the FI eSIM, remove the app/reset the phone if desired and put your ATT SIM on it.

3. After 120 days make sure counter is 0 or in progress tab is gone. At this point you can cancel the service or pause it for next deal.

I'm in a pickle!
I was on the promo for Unlimited Essentials and switched to the Unlimited Premium to take advantage of this deal. But it still says "Not eligible for offer" when I add to cart. Does anyone know a way around this, or has had it work for them?

I tried in incognito and I waited until the next day to no avail. 😢
I'm in a group and I moved all of us to Unlimited Premium. There's a person in the group who hasn't joined Fi yet, and the offer shows as available for them.
The offer is now showing for me under Fi Savings. The line discount is disabled as well. Unfortunately, the 1TB version in black and white is sold out right now.

Clarification on number 2. When the counter has gone down to 119 days, can you transfer the Fi eSIM to another phone and use another esim on the s26 ultra?

Just signed up for the Flexible Plan with eSIM option. What do I do next? Do I activate the service now with my current T mobile phone ? When I go to the Google Fi home page it is asking me to download Fi app to active service.

Where do I check to see if I'm eligible for $650 deal yet? Is it under "Shop" tab?

No don't transfer FI eSIM to any other phone, that will void the promo. You can remove the eSIM or disable it and use the phone with other eSim

Yes See the original post for this deal but here is a writeup

1. Open an account with flexible plan. Use unmentionable code from existing user for $60 credit.

2. Just to be safe, wait for the first bill to be generated before ordering the phone. This will take couple of days. At the very least wait for a day but I suggest waiting for the first bill generation.

3. Once the phone is shipped you need to activate the phone within 30 days. At this point another counter for new user r**f credit is also running down from 30 days. I strongly suggest you wait for that counter to hit zero before you activate the phone. All the counters will be shown on FI app-billing-Track FI saving and instant rebate.

4. Once the phone is activated on FI by downloading the FI app, you should wait for a day for the counter to go down by 1. At this point you can disable/remove the eSIM and use your current provider.

5. At no point during 120 days move the FI SIM to another phone (i.e. do not install FI app on any other phone and log into this FI account). Once the counter reaches 0 you can cancel the line or pause it for next deal.

Same here, by far the worst android phone I've ever used. Just a camera that makes calls like the Nokia n95
I bought that crap and returned it within 14 days and went back to my flip. It does a few things better than Samsung but not much.

You can check your device in settings by clicking SIM Manager.
I know you can. My point was that you dont need a physical sim.

I am on the Fi Flex $20 plan. What does "Activate the device on an existing full service plan." mean? Do I get a new number? Does my bill go up from $20?
