Ugh, Google Fi is charging sales tax on the full purchase price, not the after discount price.

Comes to like 17.5% in taxes when it should be 1/2 that.

The 512gb price is $1499... Therefore $850 is correct! I'm not sure if the 256gb is eligible

New FI customers can have 512gb for $999

Samsung pricing is insane. Apple is final cheaper by a mile. Samung sales are nonstarters

This is very helpful! Thank you so much! How much would this cost me in total? Including the SIM, phone etc. could you give a breakdown please?
$650 plus $125 for service minus $60 credit = $715

I thought the $60 service is usually for new users/subscriber which most of the takers of this deal aren't?

Thanks for #5. I had the Fi app installed on my GP3aXL. Once installed, can't remove it. I cleared the data and disabled the app. I also removed the google account from the phone that will be used to purchase the device.
Once you install the FI app on another phone like S26 ultra, the service will stop on your Pixel 3a XL and you will see notification from FI app to set up the service. It is always better to remove the app though so you don't accidentally tap and move the SIM.

Thank you GadgetNerd for the post and all the helpful replies to various people. Repped you

I signed up for a new Fi account on the Flex plan using the $60 promo code mentioned in the original post and activated it on my existing S23 Ultra via eSIM. My primary line (US Mobile) is on a physical SIM in the same phone.

After activation, I saw the $650 offer and went ahead and ordered the device. I didn't notice the recommendation to wait until the first billing cycle until after placing the order, so I'm hoping that doesn't cause any issues.

Once the $60 credit countdown hits zero (30 days from today), I plan to uninstall Fi from the S23U and remove the eSIM. I'll then install Fi and set up the eSIM on the S26U. After waiting a day, I'll move my primary carrier's physical SIM over to the S26U and keep Fi on eSIM. I'll set the psim as primary for data and everything else although I don't plan on using Fi for anything.

I'll wait the full 120 days until the device promo countdown reaches zero, then pause the Fi account and continue pausing it every 90 days after that.
Yeah if you do these deals then you can upgrade to latest ultras every year without paying any money. I sold my S25 ultra few weeks ago for $780 and I am paying $783 for S26 ultra ( thanks to CA tax on full amount).

No don't transfer FI eSIM to any other phone, that will void the promo. You can remove the eSIM or disable it and use the phone with other eSim
Got it. Thanks! So I can delete the Fi esim from the S26 Ultra and keep on paying until the 120 days is up but I can't transfer Fi to another phone.
What if my main esim is also with Google Fi? Can I use my main Google Fi esim on the S26 Ultra after I delete the promo esim? Or will that screw up the promo?

That's tricky (using two Fi sims on the same phone) and a recipe for voiding the promo so I'll avoid it. You can technically run two instances of FI app one in personal profile and one in work profile with Knox but things can and will go wrong if are not extra careful.

Thanks. I just had the GFi app on GP3aXL. The actual SIM was TMo. Just to be safe, I disabled the app and remove the acct tied to the GFi line to avoid any accidents. Thank you.

Just ordered White 512GB. I will have to sell my brand new S25U. Still on S24U. Didn't want to give up bluetooth connectivity of S-pen. Thanks

smooth process. New GFi account on the S24, was able to pull the trigger on the S26 right afterwards.

What if I install the new promo number as an eSIM in an S26 Ultra and another Google Fi app on an old phone (I mean the app only) and the number as a physical SIM in the S26 Ultra? What are your thoughts?
