Ugh, Google Fi is charging sales tax on the full purchase price, not the after discount price.

Comes to like 17.5% in taxes when it should be 1/2 that.

The 512gb price is $1499... Therefore $850 is correct! I'm not sure if the 256gb is eligible

New FI customers can have 512gb for $999

Samsung pricing is insane. Apple is final cheaper by a mile. Samung sales are nonstarters

Looks like for those who waited until the first bill generated. It will work out better because the phone ships later and it gives you more time for the 30 day counter to finish before activating the new phone for the 120 days.

Not much, but I wanted to buy before they run out. I love Samsung cases....expensive, but has protected my phones quite well over the years.

You have 30 days from shipping to activate the phone so even if you ordered earlier, you will be able activate it after the 30 day new user promo counter is done.

They should restock soon, also at the end of the preorder they will make every model available to order, at least thats what happened in the past years.
Same discounts also? I also don't think the phones are selling well as Samsung started emailing with higher pre-order credit from $30 to $80.

Until preorder ends on 3/11 it's the same discount and free storage upgrade. After 3/11 they will have the same discount but will loose the free storage upgrade.

Google Fi sells all their phones factory unlocked. However, if you're getting a promotional deal, you have to be careful with how you use your SIM cards so you don't void the discount.
The golden rule!!!!!!! Once you activate Google Fi on your new phone (whether via eSIM or a physical SIM), do not move that SIM to another device until the promo period ends. Doing so will immediately void your promotion, and you'll likely be charged the full price of the phone.
How to use Dual SIMs properly:

You can still use two different carriers at the same time without losing your deal. For example:
  • Setup A: Use a physical SIM from another carrier + Google Fi on eSIM.
  • Setup B: Use Google Fi on a physical SIM + another carrier on eSIM.
As long as the Google Fi service stays active on that specific phone, you are free to use a second line from any other carrier for your data or calls.

Or if not taking part of any promotions you are free to do whatever floats your boat since you have no promos to void & all phones come factory unlocked.
When you activate service on the new S26 does the service on your existing phone (one used to sign up for service) get transferred over? Just trying to figure out if I should deactivate the esim on my current S24 before I begin to activate the service on the S26 after the 30 days are over.

Thanks! I did not meant to use Number A but activation for the promo. Number B is my main line.
Just add the B as second eSIM and keep the A eSIM disabled whilst the plan is active and you pay the bills for A (120 days).

The IMEI of the S26 being registered for another FI account rather the one it is activated on might cause truble to the promo.

Can you delete the ESIM after activating and seeing the countdown start? I remember removing the physical sim from previous deals which worked great.
