i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.

i just did some testing, and $200 discount shows up on s26 plus and 26 ultra , but not on the s26 base.

No the storage bonus is always during preorder. Once the phones are available in store, the storage upgrade is gone. It's been like that every year.
I was one of them lol, waited like 3 months and had to file a BBB complaint to get the credit back. This year, given the S26 default to 256 GB storage, is best to do it in store since there it doesn't qualify for the $200 bonus storage upgrade anyway.

I guess this year I am going to upgrade only the free line. The base S26 device itself is around ~200 with store trade-in. Not much worth the effort for me.

So if you enroll as a new Spectrum subscriber and buy two lines with port in, are both lines eligible for $200 extra promotional discount?

That's specifically referring to unlimited plus members who have the anytime upgrade feature. It doesn't matter because spectrum was limiting people last year after a few s25 trade in's anyways.
