i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.
Can anyone confirm that your trade-in carrier locked phone was already approved for full $700 credit this time? Assurant will receive my Straight Talk Moto G 5G 2025 today and will let you know the status after I receive from them.

I noticed my phone shows Verizon during booting, I selected other though, not sure if it's gonna create mess, my phone to be delivered March 12.
I would like to know this as well and also it sounds like they're saying that you have to keep it for the 36 months is that correct or when would it be eligible to be unlocked and you can drop the service?
They are accepting cheap Moto phones ($30 Moto G from Walmart).
For the millionth time, you do no5 need to keep service for 36 months when you pay in full at purchase date.

The promotion started 14 days ago, so by now somebody must know already if he or she starts on February 25th. Anyway I will know mine probably at the end of this week.
Opted for newline and the phone will be delivered tomorrow. Can I activate new line on the phone and also insert my other carrier's sim to continue using both? Appreciate it anyone has first hand experience and no trouble to unlock after 60 days.

You will need to wait until it's unlocked to use other carriers sim to work. After 60 days call to get it unlocked.
YOLO, ordered the S26U using the $30 Moto G, hopefully works out. Might do a second one to sell, wife wants to stick with her Iphone (I'm going S22+ to S26U). We were planning on going to Spectrum from Verizon so this will give me a chance to try it out before making a full switch.

Just received my confirmation email. Assurant accepted the Moto 5G 2025 64GB that is locked to Straight Talk, showing a $5 credit and $700 promotion.

So you got the $705 back already? Doing the same thing, ordered an Ultra with the Moto 5G trade in, and it's letting me do a second trade so I'm going to get a S26 base and sell it/trade it to get the wife an Iphone 😂
The $200 promotion shows up for me being an existing internet customer when I go to checkout, so I believe the S26 will be freeish (+$30 for Moto 5G+2 month service)

No credit yet. It takes up to two billing cycles for the credit to be applied to the Spectrum account. I just have an email from Assurant confirming the values.

Unless something has changed this year, you don't need to keep for 36 months even on the payment plan. I paid mine off afterwards, got credits added to my account and was good to go?

Anyone ever done trade in in store, and transfered your data from the old to new phone before giving it to them? Got a friend who only has the one phone, it's trash so no reason to buy a $30 one from WM to trade in IF they can transfer their data first then reset?
