i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.

i just did some testing, and $200 discount shows up on s26 plus and 26 ultra , but not on the s26 base.

But looking at a refund of $200 less the $50 restocking fee, so $150 refund to return the S26. (too complicated with Senior parents as account holders to try to unlock multiple phones or dispose of extra phones) Just trying to save them money and get great phones. Not sure if the original $700 credit can be applied to the S26+ or if we have to process another trade in.

Once I signed in it seems to let me pay $699 in full for the 26+ and also get the $720 back for my trade in. When I sign out the old info is there about it needing to be new residential customers. Also no additional money off for the s26 when signed in only the 26+ and Ultra. Makes me consider the Ultra. Never had a phone that big before. Will be interesting to see if this is real.

I just tested on my existing free line. Looks like the $400 instant off and extra $700 tiv will stick. Will pay a visit store soon.
