Best buy does have a better deal than Samsung right now (unlocked). Both will give me $800 for my S24 Ultra but Best Buy adds the storage upgrade from the 256GB that Samsung gives me to 516GB storage.
But sadly if your trying to trade-in a S24U. In orange, green, or blue Samsung exclusive colors. BB does not accept these colors as trade-ins. Stupid move on their part.Mad

For me, Samsung website offering 500 for s22u trade in. Bestbuy offer is $56
Bestbuy is offering $500 for S22U if you buy S26U. Are you buying S26+?

What do you mean they don't accept these colors? They are missing from the drop-down menu, but does that mean they are discarding all ultras with exclusive colors? A phone is a phone, regardless of the color...

Thanks OP! BestBuy was $200 cheaper than Verizon. With my S23 Ultra 512 trade-in, the S25 Ultra 1TB is only $8.33/month for 36 months!!!

Exactly what I was told when I did a chat on their site and once again when I called customer service. Because I did not see my color "Titatinum Blue" listed. I told them exactly what you said. A phone is a phone, regardless of the color. That is stupid as hell.Mad

Ok I just called BB 1-800 customer service again. They told me to just pick the color closes to my color. I asked are they sure I won't be excluded when I go to trade in my S24U on 03/11/26. The person said they shouldn't. I also asked AI and they said they don't accept Sasung exclusive colors. So who knows what the hell will happen on 03/11/26.

I was thinking about going to a store and pre-order there, and make them write the IMEI of your trade in, so that way you will know for sure, or they could override it for you.

Not sure if this means anything. But when I typed in the IMEI of my titanium blue S24U on BB site it accepted it. Anyway let me know how it turns out.

For the trade-in at bestbuy, my only option is to trade-in at the time of pickup. How would I be able to transfer my old phone to the new phone?
What if I don't like the new phone after a couple days and would like to return it? I won't have my old phone back. Why don't they allow me to mail it in for the trade-in?

Then you should be fine, I'm sure they are going to wait for you to transfer your stuff .... and if you didn't like the phone.... Sell it?

Choose to have your phone shipped instead of pick-up and there will be an option to ship your trade-in instead of bringing it in during pick-up.

If you want to pick-up in person, contact Best-Buy to see if you can bring your trade-in after you've done your transfers because in both scenarios, you still have to pay full price until they evaluate your trade-in and refund the difference.

Bestbuy charges tax on the full amount, when they refund the 900 of my phone, they will refund the tax on that 900 too?

The only option available is pick up - Best Buy doesn't allow shipping for a trade in (at least not for me).

I pre-ordered my s26 Ultra with Google Fi (existing customer). The 512GB version at the discounted $1299 price with an additional $650 off ($649 before any trade).

My trade value is $375, so final cost before tax, etc is $274

Note: could get more for my trade if I sold it myself, just lazy
