I got this in a package deal with my blower. I didn't use it until my gas trimmer bit the dust. I gotta say, this thing is a beast. The auto feed works most of the time as long as you string it properly. This breezes through properly upkept yards and does a pretty damn good job at tackling stuff that has gotten overgrown.

I purchased this model of string trimmer/edger kit few years ago and had to return it as the string was malfunctioning and releases the spool without stopping and tangles to everything around and then snaps. HD returns person gave me a tough time to do the return stating that I have used the product and is not eligible for return...had a tough time explaining them that unless one tries to use, they are not going to know if it is defective. I am not sure if this is a newer version..

I've got this trimmer. Excellent for a small-ish yard. The neck can be spun 180-deg to become an edger as well. No complaints and I've been using it for 2-3 yrs. now.
