They won't give you the rebate. Look at all the recent posts on other thread. They play games, make up random problems that didn't happen and make you wait months

Edit: Some of you replied you keep screenshots and always get yours. I'm not new to this. I've done it before also. This time they really put up a fight and gaslighted me. They even resubmitted my rebate and created a new entry ID offer after the one I applied for was supposedly ineligible, the new one is currently still pending after two weeks. I signed up beginning of Dec....

Agreed! Shitty ass practices! Verizon is the same, never got my free Meta Quest 3S. Returned the gateway and they still charged me for the service and the gateway! Customer service is awful, they don't do their job, they say they'll get everything fixed and just keep you on hold!

Just to reiterate: That code will ONLY work if you already have TMobile for a cell provider. Otherwise, they will apply the code and promise you $30 per month when you sign up then refuse to honor the price when your first bill comes. Stay away! T-Mobile is outright scamming their customers.

This is the language I saw on the home internet website. It specifically called out voice bundle discount. So, I don't think it applies. I'm willing to give a couple month to see if it start to apply.

I don't remember how I got my prepaid card but I had to escalate with either the BBB or FTC in order to get to the proper support channels that stopped giving me the runaround. Pretty lame.

Ok, I learned something about the rebate submission that I thought I'd pass along. T-Mobile denied mine, but when I called, they manually pushed it through. I should have my $300 within a week or so.

The big issue is that when you are submitting your rebate, USE THE PHONE NUMBER FOR THE 5G INTERNET LINE, NOT YOUR CELL PHONE VOICE LINE. I don't remember what the form said, but when it asked for a phone number, I just put my voice line down, since that's the number that corresponds to my T-Mobile account. I didn't realize until later that there is a number associated with the 5G internet gateway, which I guess makes sense but is not something I ever thought about. So, the automated system looked at my voice line, checked it against the promotion requirements, and determined that my voice plan was not eligible for the 5G internet promotion. Denied. I called 1800-TMOBILE and straightened it out pretty quickly.

It's a little disingenuous of them, but it makes logical sense. I'm still annoyed that it takes an automated system 14 weeks to determine that (I know it's just to keep you connected for that long, but it's still BS). Anyway, I hope this helps someone going forward.

That is the wording I had as well. When I contacted customer service to ask, they simply pretended that their wording never existed and refused outright to honor the terms of the agreement. Even when presented with screenshots of the language of the terms. They claimed it was in another section. Their retention specialists said the best they could offer was a "one time $30 bill credit" for the "misunderstanding". This is normal business practice for them. They prey on people that they hope will not check their bills or bother with the huge hassle of disputing their scam. I am exploring a class action lawsuit against T-Mobile for their deceptive business practices.

I was able to get AT&T 1 Gbps fiber for 35$ per month. I had T-Mobile 5G before and experienced a lot of teams call drops. It worked fine for the first few months but then started throttling. I hope AT&T does not hike prices after a year of usage.

This service was great. Beware of the $300 card. Ours never came. When I inquired about it with their promotions department some months later, they stated the promotion had expired and would send me a different card at $250. I never got that one either. I'd heard similar stories from others, including a bunch of hurdles to go through to get that $300 prepaid card.

Similar experience here. Everything seemed fine, I got a message and tracking for the $300 offer. Then I had to call and they claimed that the offer had expired. They offered $300 statement credit. I haven't verified if they paid for that number of months.
Eventually they might face a class action suit, but I guess it's a calculation they make. If freedompop never faced one, then they might be safe.
Service was pretty good, but not 100% as good as fiber.
