The hardware is still decent, software updates have it working a lot better now than at launch, and it has two years of Google updates remaining. And it's the "wide" format that Samsung and (reportedly) Apple are now embracing. It's a good way to try out a folding phone on the cheap. The inside screens on all these folders are delicate though, so not having a manufacturer warranty may give pause. For $449 it could be worth it as a second phone or 2 year experiment if you're not sure if foldables are right for you.

I picked up on at around the same price and I have to say... Love it. The functionality at work of being able to comfortably read documents is amazing.

It doesn't fold totally flat, some apps don't play nice when open, but considering the price it's awesome if you manage your expectations.

i believe this 3 year old product was $400 on black friday @ woot. didn't buy it then, wouldn't consider it for a 10% price increase from black friday. edit. new open box $360 black friday @ woot

Good to know — thanks. I wasn't in the market for a phone at the time, so I missed that deal. I probably would have picked one up to try at $360. I ended up buying the 2024 Razr+ in the recent deal for $200 and like it for the compact size as a second phone. I'll keep an eye out for another good deal on the 2024 model and may switch it to my primary phone.

Down voted for not being a good product. I purchased and had 3 warranty returns. Each warranty return was a big hassle. Gave up and now I own samsung. Used samsung fold is what I would highly recommend over this phone. Shane Craig in recent video on youtube said something similar: https://youtu.be/Km8RxJiq8UA?si=0...Ysyy&t=444
