I was looking up cheap watches and decided a refurb is better than a cheap POS. I got a Watch 4 for $43 with a 1 year warranty. My girlfriend got jealous and wanted to find her old Watch 2, but I got her one, too.

We might update to a newer one in a year or so, but I wanted to see if it would be worth it first. I was considering this, but I might wait for the nicer ones to get cheaper. For $43, it's nice being able to reject a call at work when I walk away from my phone, or shut off my alarm in the morning. My two favorite features. I haven't worn a watch somewhat daily in a couple decades. I had some old Amaze Bit I got for $20, but this is much nicer.
so your wearing it while sleeping just to turn off your alarm. when are you charging the watch?

I charge it before bed. It checks my sleep, too. I don't usually care, but sometimes I'll see how bad my sleep pattern is if I wake up tired. Sometimes I get woken up by my girlfriend and having to stop to get my phone is extremely inconvenient. Now, I don't have to worry.

Also, I only get notifications from texts or Messenger, so if I hear a notification on my phone but not my watch, I know it's not that important.

Seems like a decent deal, wouldn't mind seeing an even better deal for a non LTE version

1 available near me, trying to decide if this is worth it or not. Already have one, would a spare be worth it or just put that toward future upgrade in a few years? Hmm.
Have had this and love it.

I mainly charge it on my desk while working. I really don't need it to track my 40 steps to/from my kitchen when grabbing another cup of coffee or lunch. I also use it to track my sleep so I wear it at night--and I also use it to snooze my alarm.
Another perk of Samsung Health is that it will track your steps so long as you are carrying your phone. If I'm not wearing my watch, or the rare occasion I'm wearing my watch but forgot my phone when walking the dog, the step counts still automagically sync up on both devices when they are re-connected.
