I'm not sure how good a deal this is, but for under $7 these are always handy to have around. Putting one in my car because who knows?

apparently the handle kicks out to both 45° and 90° angles for "built in" miter cut capability. studying the handle, it looks like the black (hard rubberized) inner part of the handle somehow kicks out and turns/separates from the red (plastic) part of the handle to do this... could be wrong but how else could it make 45 and 90° cuts? pretty interesting though if it works that way. I haven't seen that before.

Umm... no. The handle is fixed. The "square & miter feature" is just that the front edge of the top half of the handle is straight down (90deg) and the bottom half is angled at 45deg.

I bought this in 2024 for $9.98. Pretty nice saw, sharp, cuts way better than the similar-sized saw from Harbor Freight. At this price i might as well buy another.

I bought the same saw from Sears more than 10 years ago. It is still going strong. I used it quite often to cut tree branches and occasionally 2x4 lumbers. The teeth are very sharp and the handle is very comfortable. If you need a hand saw, this is a great one to buy.

Don't forget to bring the shovel either. Comes in handy when cutting off a few limbs and then planting them into the ground to spur new growth. LMAO

I used a similar one a couple weeks back and it was a total lifesaver.
