Before someone complains, the regular price is $18. Menards puts a cheap $6.99 as the 'everyday price' because of some sale price substitution lawsuit a decade or so ago. CYA

I bought these at this price a few months ago. They are virtually identical to the Harbor Freight version, to the point I'd be surprised if they didn't come out of the same factory. A great deal at this price. HF link for reference: https://www.harborfreight.com/peg...58939.html

Even though Menards is the #3 home improvement store, it's still even behind Lowes.

It's privately owned, so they don't borrow crazy money for fast expansion....but you pay less at the register without all those outstretched hands of Private Equity .

You DO pay for the grand piano on the second floor though...

With the layout of my toolbox I've wanted peg style socket holders like these for a while. I have a hodgepodge of different brand sockets I've put together to make mostly complete sets of 1/4 - 1/2". I just picked these up tonight and I have only tried the 1/4" metric so far but for whatever reason the masterforce sockets (the same brand as these socket holders) have an id too small to fit on these pegs, lol. Some other brands don't slide all the way down so the socket size on the end of the peg is obscured. Maybe I'll take a dremel to them, maybe I'll return them but it's pretty disappointing.
