Looks like it holds two full size panels? Would be cheaper to buy a third panel on fixed racking and get higher total output.

I just ordered eight of these. Even if the motors break right away, they're cheaper then six premade ground mounts. I pulled my solar off the roof to get a new roof, and I'm not going to drill another 800 holes in that new roof. Also, I'll put these in the field for much, much better afternoon solar throughout the year. I am jazzed. And heck, if 8 work, I'll get 8 more and finish out the old microinverter system. The bad news is, I have to dig maybe 250 feet of trench. :\

I've also got the two-axis version. The instructions say to remove the panels when winds are over some mph. Unfortunately, the instructions have two different max wind speeds in the two places where they mention it (the highest is around 34 mph iirc). To be fair though, I've had zero problems with the wind. My array is in the back yard and there are lots of trees around, so the wind rarely gets near the top speed in the area. The controller lays the array flat, parallel to the ground, when the sun isn't shining or when the wind speed exceeds some (programmable) value. The array oscillates a little, but has been fine.

They just paste in canned replies in chats and emails. At one point they said contact Eco-Worthy, but Eco-Worthy replied that AliExpress sets the rate. So I just factor that into whether I'm willing to pay the net price.

I doubt I would want to spend long time in the high wind to remove the panels. Last wind, we only tied them down when we saw them shaking.

The motors in the linear acutators are geared down. One of mine stopped working when the array got hung up on something nearby. I took it apart to figure out what was wrong. The motor itself worked fine, so I wired it back together, closed it up, and it worked fine. I suspect one of the microswitches got hung up when it jammed. The actuators seem solid after more than a year in operation. They appear well sealed against the elements, and they are well greased inside. Plus they are under the array, so they don't take the brunt of the weather. I'm not saying this is a great product, just that the actuators have been working fine for about 16 months now through all kinds of weather and temps.

I wouldn't want to spend ANY time, wind or not, taking those dang things off! It's a pain to install them in the first place. But so far they have been fine. I don't get very high winds. I was a bit ticked off when I read through the instructions and saw the wind speed limits. Don't recall seeing that in any of the listings, and most people installing these aren't engineers (at least I don't think so), so they aren't going to consider that issue before ordering.

Did you have any leaks from the solar? I'm debating about either a ground or roof solar set up.

But you have to account for the tracking articulation of the tracker, which takes up more space, probably about the space of two panels as it moves/rotates, vs 2 panels in a fixed orientation.

Yes to leaks. Rooftop solar is generally a terrible idea, and I'll never do it again, at least not in the "drill into your roof" style. The home solar industry has been such a scam.

Agreed. The only value argument for this with current dollar per watt pricing is lack of space. But even the single axis swing kinda takes the same space as an extra panel.
