Overpriced. This was as low as $475 during holiday season.
And the Core 7 was available for $599 around 2 weeks ago.

Shows $499 for me. 5% over holiday price doesn't seem overpriced to me.
According to passmark the difference between a core 5 225U and core 7 255U performance wise seems to be minor. CPU mark 17862 vs 18066
However, this seems to be a a better deal:https://slickdeals.net/f/19200292-hp-omnibook-5-16-fhd-laptop-amd-ryzen-7-350-16gb-ram-512gb-ssd-windows-11-ai-pc-469
Cheaper, same specs, except much more powerful CPU/iGPU

I don't think it's fair to compare black friday prices to current good deal prices

I don't think it's fair to post overpriced subpar deals and then try to justify it. This is definitely not a "current good deal price". We've had and keep having better specs for around this price.

We all have our opinions. I don't think it's a bad deal.
