I have the Eddie Bauer 800 fill counterpart of this jacket and love it. It felt so thin, I thought it was a joke but it's an extremely warm jacket. It squeezes down to nothing in my backpack, which makes it an EZ carry. The Patagonia is supposed to have a better no questions asked warranty vs my EB if that is important to you.

Yes. Worth it especially if you are active outdoors.

Review says these bleed feathers / newer version doesn't keep warm under 50 degrees + doesn't have elastic wrists to close around wrist.

For $140 that sounds terrible. I have eddie Bauer ones at like $50 that perform better than that and can go down to 40 degrees

You're right that it should be warmer, but the Nano Puff does not use down it's a poly fill.

The description on REI clearly states it has elastic cuffs, you can see that it does in the photos, and the reviews saying it doesn't are three years old. As for not being warm under 50 degrees, that is always a matter of opinion. I have an LL Bean jacket that I wear comfortably down to 20 degrees, but one of the reviews at the time I purchased said it wasn't warm below 45 degrees, so I don't give a lot of weight to such reviews because it is so subjective.
