It IS highly buoyant AND is in kit format, which is so important to me! This price really looks to not be very good. The Intex actual inflatable kayaks go well below this price and are pretty decent pieces of equipment. I've owned a couple and never had one leak.

I second the Intex quality. We have the 2p grey one with yellow bow and it's been great for 6-10 trips on the water now, usually fishing. But it barely glides, that's my biggest pet peeve... So much drag. I guess you have to get a real kayak to be able to glide. With two people, it's still fun.
