One battle after the other was one I didn't really enjoy. It was too long, bouncing around from very quick pace to very slow. The actors were all good but I really feel like this movie received awards and big support because it was very politically charged and very clearly a left wing movie. This movie is the left's version of Red Dawn. And by that I mean it's their fantasy/day dream movie. Best way for me to put this is if you dislike the current white house resident, you'll love this movie. If you're on the fence, independent or especially if you're right wing, you'll ask yourself why you bothered watching.

One could also argue that OBAA is clearly a right-wing propaganda film that paints liberals as violent, radical, bumbling, stoner, ANTIFA terrorists. The fact that the film also dares to satirize hard right authoritarianism and the christrian nationalist movement is extremely low hanging fruit that makes it an easy target in some circles.

I feel the exact opposite. I couldn't take Weapons seriously with how heavy-handed everything was.
The other two films are impactful for sure.
OBAO doesn't get good till after time skip, and Sinner till after recruitment
