The one thing I noticed when I do a bunch of sealing is the cheaper bags with smaller patterns on the one side do not work as well when the sealing surface is warm from doing multiple jobs. It tends to not allow the vacuum to build due to the bags closing up from the warmth.
I bought the foodsaver bags at Costco or Sam's and they are way better than the cheaper bags, especially if you plan on doing 10 or more double sealed bags.
That's just my experience.

Edit/update--apparently there are two different SKUs for the V8 on Amazon--one listed at $99.99, the other at $75.99; the YSRWHQBL code doesn't work on the $99.99 one but does work on the $75.99 one (which for me it shows as having overnight/next-day delivery whereas the $99.99 one shows an ETA of April).
Update #2--WTH??? I placed an order for the V8 at $75.99 less than 30 minutes ago; I pulled up the item in Amazon again just a few minutes ago and it's now showing $103.99 (and yes, from the same seller)!!! Glad I didn't decide to wait a bit later before pulling the trigger on the V8--LOL!
