Is not the case. Apple edu sell it also for 549. Plus trade in value for iPad Air M1 base in Apple is 210, BestBuy only offers 175. I am a plus member.

I missed the $399 iPad air 11 inch M3 deal back in December. Hopefully they bring it back.

Great cpu and tablet, but honestly iPad os gimps it. Would be amazing if Apple would let you run macos on it and it'd probably perform better than the new MacBook Neo using the mobile A18 chip too.

My Comixology library alone was over 2TB (now on Kindle). I don't download everything to the iPad but I need around 300GB for my favorites and reading list.

Also offline videos. Comes pretty handy when there's a power and/or internet outage.

I carry the iPad in my purse and bring it everywhere. Offline content is great when you're stuck waiting at the doctor's office or labs and there's no cellular signal. Road trips, too, where the signal cuts in and out. Long haul flights, etc.

It was on sale at amazon back in December. From time to time the ipad air price in amazon drops to $399. It happened twice but im too late to buy it since it only has 2 stock at that time. I suggest to add it on your cart and check it from time to time.
