Is not the case. Apple edu sell it also for 549. Plus trade in value for iPad Air M1 base in Apple is 210, BestBuy only offers 175. I am a plus member.

Is not the case. Apple edu sell it also for 549. Plus trade in value for iPad Air M1 base in Apple is 210, BestBuy only offers 175. I am a plus member.

The newest 11" (M5) has been $799 a few times recently, which matches the M4 price that's been popping up a lot (and unavailable in a lot of places). Not sure if there's a better deal on a lower M series, but I jumped on the M5 just for the longevity of the expected lifespan for me.

Great cpu and tablet, but honestly iPad os gimps it. Would be amazing if Apple would let you run macos on it and it'd probably perform better than the new MacBook Neo using the mobile A18 chip too.

Yeah, more than capable, but Apple wouldn't do that as it would kill MacBook sales. An iPad is basically a blown-up iPhone, and some people prefer that. They don't want it to be like a MacBook.

Don't feel it's worth it to get iPad on 1st day. Not like you can show it off like orange iPhone. Picked up an 13" M3 Air Cellular for ~$550 all-in a month ago. That's more than 40% off MSRP

Is there still a significant difference in speaker quality between the Air and Pro? I'm out of the loop on newer Ipads but sprung for the Pro because of the superb sound quality 4 years ago. My 3rd gen 11" M1 Pro has better sound than my buddy's aging Dell gaming laptop that has a subwoofer in it. Not better bass but better overall sound quality for stuff like instructional guitar videos. Edit- I just tried to look up the sound quality, obviously tricky for a model that hasn't been released yet, I am leaning towards just holding onto my M1 11" Pro for a few more years. It suits my needs, may need a battery in the coming year but that's chicken feed compared to buying a new Pro currently.

OK... which is it... Better Base in the Dell Alienware $4k laptop that has two subwoofers built in or Better Base in the ipad.

I say the speakers of the ipad are like little gods, cause just like you say, you will never in you life get sound quality like the speakers in the ipad.

But it looks like you are very serious about sound... The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra generally has better, louder, and clearer speakers than the M4/M5 iPad Pro, with superior bass and treble... I think you need to become a Android person if you want the best of the best.
