Interesting. However there's a bunch of "gotchas" in the rewards, such as Doordash being a $10 off $50 discount code, twice a month, which sucks. The Oura benefit requires you to purchase a ring+subscription at the same time, so if you already have a ring it looks like you can't get the benefit. Nearly all credits are split into buckets, such as the dining credit being $20/mon and the hotel credits only for "luxury" hotels, booked through the app, with "standard" hotels only having a $100 credit.

I suspected as much.

That many restrictions and that much fine print is pretty ridiculous.

It's also weird that it doesn't even include their own Gold program.

1% vs 3% (gold card). I'll keep my gold card.

Looks like the gold membership is included.

The card also is a mix of benefits of Chase Sapphire Reserve and Amex Platinum with almost all of the benefits having more restrictions or essentially useless (for eg Doordash $10 coupon with min $50 limit, where CSR has no such $50 limit for a similar benefit).

Ah, I see it now... They should put it in their itemized list as a $60 value. At least that's a direct savings for anyone who's already paying for Gold.

Yup. Also their reward point redemption are a total rip off. Best to just transfer to investment account.

This is pure scam hidden in the details. Like DoorDash credit only works on DELIVERY orders and they must be over $50 before any taxes and fees.

Quote :
$250 Annual DoorDash Credits: Once you activate DashPass through your Platinum Card, you will receive up to three (3) $10 off discounts each January and up to two (2) $10 off discounts in every other calendar month. Apply up to one discount per qualifying delivery order with a minimum subtotal of $50, excluding fees and taxes.

Ya... I'll save more than $10 on DD by not ordering $30 of food that's been inflated to $55, plus fees, plus a tip....
