Got a pair. I was debating if I should get theoretically safety-critical items off deals (and from Amazon Basics), but it also occurred to me i likey wouldn't have one when I needed it if I didn't see them on sale now and buy them. I do hope I never need to test them!

Get a hammer instead (currently $4 on sale at HF). It's much more versatile and may be useful in lots of other situations.

Speaking of the belt cutter - a pocket knife would serve much better. It has to be close to you to reach, if you get stuck and have to cut the belt to free yourself up.
