I purchased this and returned it. For what I use it for (youtube and generally in quiet environment), the sound quality was very good. I have the same issues around inconsistent disconnection, and sometimes one side will just stop connecting, though a reset from the case trend to fix this.
this my daily go to earbuds now because I need to be aware of my surroundings at work. I did get disconnection issues at first but that fix it self by putting it back in the case now it rarely happens. I've had it for 3 months now and I'm happy with it.
