For Chrome, open incognito page, chose I need a new number, chose $55 plan, enter your zip, hit get new number, hoover your mouse to the top right area near the X then message for coupon will pop up, works for me every time. These $25 off coupon works for only new customer, won't work for existing customer option. I can give you a code if you can't generate one.

Just grabbed five more phones in store for 370

Obviously more expensive because they charge tax on full price of phone but had no nonsense fees etc which was nice and the prior deal is dead anyways

Did you already have one line active before going in store?

Can someone confirm this?
I am not saying your wrong but these all came sealed from apple with a warranty date starting the day you activate it. Refurbished (where the may have replaced the battery) would not have the apple branding sealed apple new box and would not be sole as new by a major retailer. For those of you that got denied escalate to higher tier tech team (yes you will have to wait). Show them the your apple activation date and the battery life ask if they can override it.

I already did all these suggestions. Manager said if the software scan shows unauthorized modications, doesn't matter if I did or not, warranty voids.

Only way to prove that the software is wrong is for the Genius Bar technicians to open up the phone and confirm that no hardware was changed.

My worry here is that if the technician opened it up and still claims that the phone was modified, then I'm stuck with an opened phone, which can be very hard to resell or trade in at other carriers or retailers. Note that the phone was an iPhone 15, brand new sealed from Boost, delivered 1 week prior. I cut my loss of time wasting at the Apple store and traded to Best Buy for $440 for the Pixel 10a. Better deal anyway since Apple was only given me $310 for that phone.

You might get an easy manager who will ask the genius tech to override it without opening up the phone like langkhack reported here.

Just to address your previous comment, I was finally able to register for an online account today for the first iPhone 16e that I purchased online for $120 this past Mon. If I could make an educated guess, from my understanding, basically, Cricket must've never given the go ahead for me to register my online account until today after receiving a text message from them referring to their "Call Defense" feature which is intended to block fraud calls and text messages and their message mentioned that I could "opt-out by logging into my online account" and "disabling Call Defense in my Settings" which I considered 'a sign' to create my online account today which I did by entering in my phone number and in turn their site prompted me to supply a password that meets their criteria which went successful. I didn't even have to use the "forgot username" or "forgot password" feature to make that happen. I did mention in a previous comment yesterday that I was presented w/ the following error when trying to create an account, not to mention, that also included using the "forgot username" or "forgot password" feature:

However, what surprised me the most was that I was also able to setup an online account today using the phone number for my other 16e phone that I purchased at my local Cricket store yesterday which perplexes me.
Also as a side note, you're given a default username which happens to be a string of random letters and numbers. For example, mine was "gfa9c5h7ttu5q" on my first iPhone 16e which would be really hard to remember and from what I can tell there's no way to change it: https://www.cricketwireless.com/s...e-password
I'm glad that method worked for you.

I used the forgot username and password to recover my online logins for the online account. For in store, the rep handed me the password and told me to use my phone number to login to the myCricket app. Inside the app, I found the randomly generated username similar to yours.

What's the experience been in store for most people? Are they allowing people to add a line if they have already ordered a phone online? Thanks.

High trade promos ended on 12th for 10A. You can still get $255 iphone 13 / $340 iphone 15 refund. If trade towards normal pixel 10 $549 Indigo Blue sale at Bestbuy. If add $30 Visible+ Sim kit it gives extra $50 off phone. Brings it down to $499 before phone trade.

As Jaggsta already pointed out, high trade-in values only good during the promotional period, typically pre-order events such as Pixel 10a release. It works out to be $190 (actual trade-in value) + $250 (trade-in promotion) = $440

I always wait until there's a release event to trade in.

So far, here are my trade-ins with Apple.

5 iPhone 11 from Metro:
4 passed, 1 failed first run with Apple internal MRI (Mobile Resource Inspector). The tech re-run the failed one and it was passed on the second run. All 5 were accepted.
MRI can be accessed using these instructions: https://support.apple.com/en-us/101944

1 iPhone 15 from Boost:
Failed with Apple new web-based Smart Assessment MRI. Unauthorized modifications error. MRI was run at a different Apple Store. Same results. Tech told me serial is already saved on Apple server, so the results will be the same no matter where I go.
I performed phone internal MRI at home. All diagnostics passed, including the battery, with no error showing unauthorized modification. I documented the whole process, but Apple wouldn't even look at them. They only trust what's done in store by their employees.

4 iPhone 16e from Metro:
3 passed, 1 failed on the first run with Apple web-based Smart Assessment. Tech told me to try online trade-in. Based on my previous experiences, I didn't argue and just take the phone back. I will wait to trade in at another retailer.

5 iPhone 16e from Cricket:
All passed and accepted.

Can you trade in an iPhone to another retailer (Google Store, BestBuy, ... etc) if that iPhone failed at the Apple store MRI? TIA

You can't until you've gone past the initial month or two months if you did the 16e promo.
