T-Mobile 30 day eSIM Trial on T-Life App you can port it out for free. I got 4 phones to use on trials from Straight Talk/Total Wireless deals unlocked in last 3 years.

After get Free Trial Number create a T-Mobile ID: Use the T-Mobile website to link your trial number to a email/profile.

Locate Account Info: Your account number in the "Account Summary" section of the online portal. Generate a Port PIN: Under Settings in Profile

For Chrome, open incognito page, chose I need a new number, chose $55 plan, enter your zip, hit get new number, hoover your mouse to the top right area near the X then message for coupon will pop up, works for me every time. These $25 off coupon works for only new customer, won't work for existing customer option. I can give you a code if you can't generate one.

No need, the store associate will reset them for you at the end.
I traded in 3 iPhone 16e last week without any issues. I just received my final order today with one iPhone 16e and one iPhone 13. I've activated both and made a few calls. I'm planning to trade them in this weekend, and hopefully everything will go smoothly.

DP: Brought three 16e's and two 13 to trade in. Everything went smoothly except one 16e, kept popping up as $0 TiV. The agent said to sell it locally after trying a few times but I asked to warranty it (because it was new) and offered to make a Genius Bar appointment, which was available instantly. Met with the Genius, tested the device saying they might be refurbished but no errors came up on the iPad. Got a manager override and was out the door with a $310 gift card.

Smart. They probably knew it wouldn't be worth it to get a whole replacement device for something thats just going to be traded in anyway, lol. Hope my apple employees are like yours!

Activated and signed in with 4 iPhone 16e and one iphone13. Erased and removed eSIM before heading to Apple Store. Got full trade value on all of them. No questions asked.

I have two on one android. I don't see why it wouldn't work on iPhone if you transfer using the support chat bot.

Two Iphone 13 from line 4/5 arrived today, took both to apple store along with 16e bought 2 days ago from store and another 16e failed trade in from last week, activate both 13's and removed esim in the parking lot, walked in traded both of them no issue, 16e from 2 days ago failed, called the manager over told her both 16e's running on Beta IOS as an excuse, she suggest bring it over to Genius bar to take a look, technician inspect and do a hard reset for about 30min and same result, manager was nice gave technician approval to push through trade in for both phones, walked out with new Ipad and 17e.
So from my experience, activate and trade in same day or next day have no issue, hold on to the phone 2 days or more have high chance get flagged with mod issue.

Just sharing my experience getting new numbers to port in.

- Helium: Easy, asked for ID. Signed up and transferred out in minutes. From clicking port to activating on the 16e was more than 4 days due to shipping. Tried making another account with different email but ID didn't go through. ~$1
- Tmobile life: Did it through app but couldn't figure out to how actually install esim. I think I accidentally x'd out when it was installing and couldn't get back. Tried creating another profile with different email/phone but was recognized. Free
- MobileX: Same as helium but haven't tried multiple numbers. ~$5
- Lyca: Had to signup through website. Super slow website and they email you a QR within minutes. Need to call within business hours to port out. Haven't tried creating another account. ~$5

When I received my order the online didn't even show shipped, still processing lol. So I just turned on the phone, wifi, installed esim and it worked right away. Creating account is just entering phone number to receive a txt then confirm. Easy breezy
