T-Mobile 30 day eSIM Trial on T-Life App you can port it out for free. I got 4 phones to use on trials from Straight Talk/Total Wireless deals unlocked in last 3 years.

After get Free Trial Number create a T-Mobile ID: Use the T-Mobile website to link your trial number to a email/profile.

Locate Account Info: Your account number in the "Account Summary" section of the online portal. Generate a Port PIN: Under Settings in Profile

For Chrome, open incognito page, chose I need a new number, chose $55 plan, enter your zip, hit get new number, hoover your mouse to the top right area near the X then message for coupon will pop up, works for me every time. These $25 off coupon works for only new customer, won't work for existing customer option. I can give you a code if you can't generate one.

Two Iphone 13 from line 4/5 arrived today, took both to apple store along with 16e bought 2 days ago from store and another 16e failed trade in from last week, activate both 13's and removed esim in the parking lot, walked in traded both of them no issue, 16e from 2 days ago failed, called the manager over told her both 16e's running on Beta IOS as an excuse, she suggest bring it over to Genius bar to take a look, technician inspect and do a hard reset for about 30min and same result, manager was nice gave technician approval to push through trade in for both phones, walked out with new Ipad and 17e.
So from my experience, activate and trade in same day or next day have no issue, hold on to the phone 2 days or more have high chance get flagged with mod issue.
What are you going to do with all of these numbers now? And have you tried porting any out of cricket yet?

How do I do it with the support chat bot?
Open the support chat, choose "existing customer", then "new eSIM device", and follow the instructions. The bot will send you an OTP, then ask for your new phone's IMEI and email for the QR code. I never had to scan the QR code manually - the phone automatically detected the new eSIM profile.

Thanks, I figured it out and it went through flawlessly.
And for anyone wondering, it is possible to have two active cricket eSIMs on one iPhone

thank you so much for the code. I used it. Is it still the same method of trying to close the tab or browser?
yep, the same, but from my observation, the popup is more likely to appear on $200+ orders than on discounted phones. Not sure if it really matters...

between 2 iphones, all you need is the phones and wifi to transfer esims. just start by adding new esim to the phone you want, then there'll be a pop-up on the originating iphone. follow prompts and done in a few mins.
maybe another manual step to click install esim on the destination phone and choose in phone.

When I try to add newline exit my account plan it's showing a total of $150 for a 3-month plan. I'm not seeing any lower priced options. I've heard that some people are paying around $35 for a plan...am I missing something?

They changed it so the earlier deal is dead -- before you only had to pay for 1mo discounted service to add a line ($30 or $20 each)

Now you have to pay for 1mo discounted service plus another $120 on top so your $30 add a line from earlier is now $150 ($30+$120) and your $20 add a line is $140 ($20+$120)

The one that I had $0 Tiv was traded on the same day. Genius bar tech said that his report suggested that the battery had a defect/replaced.

Damn, I held off on ordering an iPhone first, and ordered a Moto G Stylus just so that I could add a line for less - and now they nerf it such that it's more expensive than buying a new phone outright with 3 months of service.

One of the 13 I sent through FedEx just got there and was adjusted because the camera was faulty. Trade in went to $70 so I'm going to reject it and go to the apple store. I should have done that from the beginning but the drop off location was right next to my job so I didn't mind waiting a week for the credit. Phone was used a day and charged to 100% before sending off.

Finally got my 16e today. Just have the one 16e and one 13 (metro).

Questions for those who did it, how do I now transfer the line to another device? I have an apple SE sitting here all empty and alone...

And what is the exact process for trade-in? Assume first transfer line, then reset phone, and... then try to trade-in? Never did a trade-in before so apologies if this is basic stuff.

Also checked for online deals, but seeing $140 for another 16e... not really a discount anymore. Assume Metro deals are also dead -- and they are a super pain to deal with. But if I transfer the lines, guessing if anything comes along I can still do it?

Thanks.

So now the only way to get this deal is to go to a store?

I did the same. By the way, check your stylus lock status... not sure why but mine came unlocked.

But I managed to get one order in last week for a 16e before they totally destroyed the deal. Not nearly as good as most here, but I'll take it.

Guess try instore, as some say that works for them as new customers. Although the one store I tried had a worse deal than online.
