How do these perform when used under UHS-I speed? Like on an action camera?

i havent had any issues shooting in 4k on my Mini 5 Pro drone. SD express is equivalent to UHS (gen 3). it is fully backward compatible to UHS-I and UHS-II card readers/writers. i grabbed one of these for my drone. yes i know only the UHS-1 speeds will be utilized in the drone itself, but data transfer to my computer is much faster with a SD Express card reader (up to 900mbs). if i use a UHS-II reader (max speed 300mbs), i get write speed improvements but the read speed didnt change. my understanding is that if u put a SD Express card in a UHS-II reader, it reverts to UHS-1 speeds.

I dont think you need these speeds for a surveillance camera and can save some money getting a A1 or even A2 card.

Prices for memory are crazy now so A2 is probably more expensive than this

I'd get an endurance card for a dashcam. But just realized it's $80 for the same capacity on Samsung's site.
