Am I the only one who doesn't want a bright display and touch controls on every single thing, especially power bricks?

I recently purchased this product for $59.99 during a November sale. It's a solid brick with a built-in supercharger. The display isn't particularly bright, and you have the option to customize what you want to display, like different option to see the watts and devices output connected In my opinion, the regular charger price is not worth the hype. I would recommend getting a charger that costs around $30-45 maybeeeee. But solid to charger my laptop, cellphone and still left some juice to charger other devices fast.

Excellent charger. Love mine. I think it's been lower, but this is a solid buy at this price point.

It's $59 if you are a member of Costco. Shipping is slower. Charger is definitely hefty and has some weight to it. The cable is 5', wish it was 10'

I totally agree with you. They do it only to be able to charge more and make more profit.

How heavy is this? I travel often and I find that my current charger falls out of the well-used outlets in airports and hotels.

It's pretty heavy. I got this the other day and tested it out. It was secure in my vertical home plug but I don't think it would stay in a wobbled out hotel wall plug. It's a great charger that shows the wattage being pulled on each port.

Question: a family member is moving abroad to New Zealand and I noticed these can accommodate 240v. Worth it to purchase something like this (dedicated type A outlet type) along with a separate type 1 pin adapter? Or should I find something that is designed to work with type 1 (likely more expensive)?

Pretty sure it's type I, not 1. I'd check the price of what the Australian version of these are selling for in Australia and go with whichever is cheaper, although using this with an adapter adds the hassle of an adapter and an additional point of failure.

I would love to get one of these so I don't have to carry around the monster power brick for my laptop, phone charger, etc... but these style do not fit into conference table built in power outlets. I guess I could carry around a little 6" extension cable too.

True. They also offer ones without lights and screens for cheaper. So it's win win with anker I guess
