Great price for the Luma Pro. I have the Pro XR. These are super fun to play Switch or other handhelds like Steam Deck. You can play in bed without disturbing others. Also gives you a more 3D immersive feel. I didn't use it for anything else. Vitures also have build in myopia adjuster.

How does this compare to the $142 after tax Viture Pro XR/AR?

Have both. Both are bright. Luma pro in my opinion looks better. Also I wear glasses and can see better in the luma than the ray neo 4. Both are great though.

This is a steal IMO where if you buy the Luma pro on its own it's $499. Feel like this might be an error at some point and the price would change soon.

"Bro" these aren't that good and you're just burning your parents money by buying these items, given the tech is still not there for multi-uses.

Do you have experience with them?

What do you mean by "the tech is still not there for multi-uses" ?

These are pretty versatile gadgets and can be used with a variety of devices. They're very convenient when laying down or sitting in an enclosed space when you want a massive screen. Ive even used them as a second screen for work when in a pinch and traveling.

It means exactly what I said.
No, I have used them to try to bother someone in bed, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a single use case.

I have the Viture Pro and returned the RayNeo 4, these are significantly better in both image quality and wearability comfort. RayNeo software is not even close to Spacewalker which is miles ahead on video playback and integration with gaming and video players. I'm not much of a gamer but used Viture glasses on a long , 15 hrs. flight , and they're a game changer especially with the USB adapter that allowed the phone to charge while watching movies and youtube.

Definitely these, I got the Viture Pro and while they're very decent Luma looks much better. I just got them so I don't have a long experience wearing them but at they feel more comfortable , allow for bigger face without feeling pressure on temples. Image quality is much better IMHO, looks more like a 2K than 1080p. The temple arms are adjustable up-down vs the Viture Pro where I needed to print a raiser to compensate the horizontal level difference.
When compare pricing deduct $60 for the USB XR adapter , this adapter is a must have IMHO because will allow power passthrough for the phone or gaming device, I used the Viture Pro on my latest 15 hrs. flight and coupled with a Anker battery I could watch movies and browse the whole flight and still have juice left in the battery.

I have both and going to pass the Pro's to my son because these are more comfortable for long sessions i.e. long flights. Picture quality is noticeable better on Luma but for budget the Viture Pro hold their own pretty good.
When comparing the price deduct $60 for the USB adapter which is great by itself and expands the usage of the glasses.

How are these different from something like rayneo 4 pro? They seem to be cheaper. My main use case would be watching movies or playing games on them
Ray Neo 4 Air where the first glasses I bought and returned them after one day, the fit is not there at least for my face and the software I found to be lacking compared with Viture. After the RN4 I bought the refurbed Viture from eBay and found those older glasses better than RN4 in picture quality , much brighter, and comfort.

So what was that like? Bothering someone in bed with them? That's the only use-case you found that was effective?

Seems a lot like just trying to poopoo a deal

How do these work for those who wear glasses? I can see up close so I assume they're fine but still curious. I can't use my vr headsets without glasses or Rx lenses for example
If you have myopia they are fantastic according to a friend that was able to adjust perfectly, if you're on the other side with hyperopia, you need to order magnetic inserts, VR-rock has them for $40.

What are you babbling about ?

No, they are not good for most wide-use cases as the tech needs to get better. Your "well, it's better than nothing/in a pinch" argument also doesn't really work since they're still $329+.

This is one piece of tech that is it better to wait on until it advances somewhat.
