Great price for the Luma Pro. I have the Pro XR. These are super fun to play Switch or other handhelds like Steam Deck. You can play in bed without disturbing others. Also gives you a more 3D immersive feel. I didn't use it for anything else. Vitures also have build in myopia adjuster.

How does this compare to the $142 after tax Viture Pro XR/AR?

For those asking about Rayneo Air Pro 4 - it didn't work out of the box with the Switch 2 using their JoyDock accessory. The app also isn't approved and part of the Play store either. When searching to see if a firmware update was needed for the JoyDock, I found out that several times a Switch 2 update has broken functionality for the glasses and users have to wait on a patch.

Going to try these instead.

I ordered it then did some more research on the Lumas and cancelled my order. There seems to be large number of cases with frame cracking because Viture made frames adjustable for the Lumas. It may be better to get the Pro XRs. The Pro XRs are very clear and it's on sale regularly for $150ish now.

I have the Viture Pro and returned the RayNeo 4, these are significantly better in both image quality and wearability comfort. RayNeo software is not even close to Spacewalker which is miles ahead on video playback and integration with gaming and video players. I'm not much of a gamer but used Viture glasses on a long , 15 hrs. flight , and they're a game changer especially with the USB adapter that allowed the phone to charge while watching movies and youtube.
You do know you can use Spacewalker app with any glasses. I have both Viture xr pro and RayNeo air 4's and the air 4's work fine with spacewalker app. U just need to pay $4 to unlock the 3d since it's not a Viture product.

Thats unfortunate because I got the Pro XR's and I'm using the largest nose pad size due to my low nose bridge. But doing so made it the screen too high up on my FOV. Someone mentioned printing here so I'm going to see if there's something I can place between the arm and my ears.

I'd stay away from these entirely. They're just not there tech-wise to make these things practical yet. Too many flaws to be doling out this type of cash.
I sadly have to agree, I got a pair and was just turned off by the small FOV. Could be a good deal if you travel a lot for planes and what not. but otherwise I'd rather use a TV even if its not as good in some respects.

I'm assuming the XREAL 1s is better than this?

What do you think of Xreal 1s's 3DoF?
I use my 1S almost every night with the Anchor mode (3DoF), and it's basically flawless. I hook them up to a MacBook Pro, iPhone, the AYN Thor, or a Retroid Pocket Mini V2 and every one works great. The last 2 are android gaming devices and I tend to play old emulated games on them (up to PS2 or so), and haven't had a problem.
I don't tend to use the Audio much, since I'm in bed and don't want to wake the wife, but some bluetooth earbuds and these are a perfect combo. In a pitch-black room you can't see anything except the screen, and it's massive. Laying in bed with these things on is such a great experience.
I looked at the Luma Pros and if this deal would have been up before I bought the 1S (for $450 on sale) I would have jumped on it...and I'm glad it wasn't. The 3DoF features are massive for the usefulness of these devices.

What are you babbling about ?

No, they are not good for most wide-use cases as the tech needs to get better. Your "well, it's better than nothing/in a pinch" argument also doesn't really work since they're still $329+.

This is one piece of tech that is it better to wait on until it advances somewhat.
So what you're saying is that you never own one and are just trolling around with silly counters like "Bro" and "parents money", got it

Damn. I've had the Viture Pro XR for about 4 months now and there YouTube reviews made me super hesitant but they have been my favorite new tech investment of the year. I can't believe I missed this deal because I may have jumped on these as well to compare/contrast

I think Viture makes a really nice product as a gateway into the XR tech space. It's literally just plug it into your phone for instant connection and projection of whatever you're doing on your phone. I've finished up some work while waiting to pick up kids from school. If you have Amazon/Luna and a connected controller, you're playing games wherever you want. I like Vitures because they have the vision adjustments for each eye and it's comfortable to wear for as long as you want. They're powered off whatever you plug them into so you don't have to deal with any separate charging or cables.
I think the Pro XR is a great entry point for the price it's been on sale at...this might be a bit higher than some people's "try out" range...but hopefully prices will drop even more.

Zero complains, I can easily use them for work, ultra-wide 21:9, zero noticeable drift. Everything is processed on glasses, a big advantage if you don't have an admin account on a company PC.
