Looks like it is near the end of support for driver and firmware updates.

Yes the price is low but we've seen the 1165G7 model for just $10 - 20 more in the past in better condition, and the difference between 1165G7 and 1185G7 is basically nothing. I would never buy products from woot.com that have questionable condition.
None of those come with as good of a display as this, almost all in this price come with 250-300 nits 45% NTSC. The build, sound, and keyboard quality of this beat anything in this price range. Additionally this has a 3:2 display which is the most preferred for productivity and office work; every other option is either 16:9 or 16:10, so not really comparable to begin with.
The only biggest drawback is the risky condition, that could either be good or pretty bad, and no such warranty. That should be the only valid point, not the specs.
I was thinking about converting another small machine to Openclaw and this could be a good one to do.
But Macbook Neo brand new for $499 if you go the EDU route, no one should be buying any $500 Windows computer if they want something that just works.
Sub $500 windows will be under powered. although there are some nice discounts on Snapdragon since no one wants those things and they have decent power. or step up to $650+ for a used./refurb computer with RTX 5050/5060 8GB GPUs.

But I do stand buy the opinion that you should never buy questionable quality stuff from woot.

I'd either do that or grab the MacBook Neo when it comes out on edu discount.
