Not sure about this one (do your research) but I have had very good experience with AOC's VA panel offerings. My 32" 1440p I bought used for work is luscious.

Bought it when it was $249. Over 1,000 nit brightness, with 1152 dimming zones. I would buy again.

Great deal and good monitor and excellent for the price. Great brightness too but the only issue is the ergonomics are quite limited in terms of height or even tilt adjustment.

At this price its worth it though, just get a separate monitor stand

pleasantly surprised with the brightness and color accuracy on this.

27" 1440p really is perfect, sitting arm's length away, compared to the 32" curved for me.

450 brightness on the AOC vs 300 on that IPS samsung panel, and mini-led is most likely going to have better color and deeper blacks than IPS

AOC still wins in my book, and I'm pretty close to Microcenter

I'll give the AOC a try. My only hesitation is that I'm limited to HDMI 2.0 on these because I fell for the SD effect on that Acer Neo 16s laptop a few weeks ago that had killer specs but no display port so I'm stuck with HDMI where the AOC is 144hz and the Samyoung cheats and can still run at 200Hz over HDMI since it doesn't have a full 4:4:4 chroma, but I'd rather have the better picture quality over refresh rate anyway. We'll see how it compares because the G50 OLED deal a few weeks back ended up being a bust because the text fringing was insane.
