About this eBook:
  • The Eternals, the ruling class of the Future, had the power of life and death not only over every human being but over the very centuries into which they were born. Past, Present, and Future could be created or destroyed at will.
  • You had to be special to become an Eternal. Andrew Harlan was special. Until he committed the one unforgivable sin—falling in love.
  • Eternals weren't supposed to have feelings. But Andrew could not deny the sensations that were struggling within him. He knew he could not keep this secret forever. And so he began to plan his escape, a plan that changed his own past . . . and threatened Eternity itself.

Having read all of Asimov's books several times, this is one of my favorites. It's a standalone book, so you don't need to have read the Foundation or the Robot series. Doesn't feel dated despite being written in the 1950's.
Innovative story with the trademark Asimov style, solid imagination and brilliant ending with a nice twist. Highly recommended.

They don't give shipping credits, if you use the Amazon credit card. Switch to another card if the value of the shipping credit is higher than the cash back on the Amazon credit card.

I actually read this one, too. And it was pretty interesting.
On a side note, Children of Time was also pretty wild, in a "hard read" sci-fi sort of way.
Different author, but I confuse the two.

Why do people put, nice twist, at the end for no good reason?
For anyone who has not read it, it spoils it.

dont say its an old book---books arent movies and books this old dont get talked about like movies do.
