Verizon killed their 60 day unlock policy, and with that, any interest in most of their deals.

As per the new unlock policy phones activated on or after January 20, 2026, ST unlocks devices 365 days after activation, provided the service remains active and paid. Also the $25 credits only apply if you stay with their top of the line Platinum Unlimited plan for $65 (or $60 with auto-pay from 2nd month) through out the year.

Key line in the policy document: For all cellphones Activated on or after January 20, 2026, the cellphone will be unlocked upon request after 365 days of paid and active service.

It's actually $765, because you have to maintain service for 365 days to unlock it.
