I bought this years ago thinking I would rarely use it. I was wrong. I use the jigsaw all the time. Good deal. Great tool.

Small cuts. Like cutting wood dowels, cutting notches in fencing, cutting PVC pipes, cutting metal conduit. A lot of short cuts where taking out a reciprocating saw or another saw is cumbersome. I have also used it to do some more detailed articulated cuts that are not straight. It is lighter than a lot of my other DeWalt tools so it's easy to use with one hand while holding stuff. It has been super helpful.

For those curious about shipping, it's shipping via FedEx from North Las Vegas. I put my order in Thursday evening, it's on a FedEx Friday afternoon, and scheduled to arrive Saturday between 10am-2pm. I live in southern California.
