Which cars use this though? My cars are calling for 0-20. Or slightly older ones 5-30.

Don't use this then. It will cause hydraulic lock and your engine will be toast.
This is for older cars, pushrod type cylinder heads with large oil gallies.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank dirtpeople

This should also qualify for Castrol's current $5 per 5 qt. GTX rebate (max. $15) bringing the total down to $1/qt. for quantities under 15.

Edit: Confirmed. Money is in my paypal.

Castrol® GTX® Classic is a high performance formula for push-rod, flat tappet engines and performance cam applications. It's blended with high zinc and phosphorus content to help prevent premature aging, wear and metal fatigue on engines with high tension valve springs or performance modifications that create high contact pressure and extreme internal temperatures. Specially formulated engine oil for classic/collector cars, muscle cars, hot rods and race cars.

Not for vehicles with modern catalytic converters or wet type clutches

20w50 is to heavy to use as bar oil. You can really use anything. I once on a job site in a shopping center used cooking oil out of a Chinese restaurant dumpster after I cut the oil in a water bottle with 2cycle gasoline as bar oil. I'd imagine you can cut this oil with some thinner or gasoline but the price of gas currently your better off buying bar and chain oil.
