This is Final Fantasy 7...part 1. This would be the place to start Final Fantasy I think. The first one you may find archaic and quite frustrating. This Final Fantasy is in three parts. Part two is coming out in the summer I believe.

Ahhhh alright cool I was worried storywise about 1-6, if you jump right into 7 is that problematic.
Thats great about the second remake coming out as the second part to this.

No, 1-6 are all stand alone games and are not sequels to each other.
