I may be wrong about this - but buyer beware: I think the 83" G3 is the same as 83" C3 other than G is thinner. I believe same exact panels on the 83" specifically.

The G series stands for gallery. They mount flush to the wall for a premium art mounted look. Looks a lot better than C on a wall. Nothing deceptive about it though, just a premium for a premium look. Samsung does it with their frame series.

Yeah, I think like 30% IIRC. I have it, didn't hold out for the G4, can live with less brightness no problem.

This isn't a good deal. C5 would be way better. I am looking for a G5 myself. I have a G3 77, but the panel on the 83 was different that year. I would be downgrading.
